Jannali - an Aboriginal word from Northern Territory?

edit

Article states, 'Jannali is an Aboriginal word, meaning the Place Of The Moon, originating from the people of the Northern Territory.' (note Wiki link to Northern Territory), i.e. 2000+ km away in northern Australia.

I query, how did Aboriginals 2000+ km away give this locality its name?

Alternatively, how have linguists justified the transference of meaning of Jannali=Place of the Moon from NT to the Aboriginal language used in Jannali, NSW, if such transference has been done or shown to be done at all?

Both seem to be a totally impractical, illogical and impossible claims to justify.

The presnt link is dead, however the following gives a meaning and does so without refernce to NT http://eora.sydneyinstitute.wikispaces.net/file/view/Sutherland+Shire+Place+Names.pdf
