Coloring?

edit

I don't know anything about the traditional color scheme for Japan and (South) Korea, but I find it odd that SK's team logo is blue and Japan's team logo is red, but their colors denoting who won which match is reversed (SK's win is red while Japan's win is blue).

Is there any reason for this? Or should they be switched to match their team logo colors? -- 71.141.100.130 (talk) 03:00, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

SK's team called "The Red Devil" and Japan's team called "Samurai Blue".--FUSION7188 (talk) 15:46, 11 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Several Food for Thought Points

edit

Should under-age and women's matches be included?

Shouldn't the title be Japan - Korea as per alphabetical order?

New column for references in the match list

edit

There should be a place to add references, preferably an archivable url, for each match. Here is two possible layouts, I am fine with either one. Any thoughts? -- love.wh 11:30, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

  • Layout 1:
# Date Venue Competition Home Score
(Ref.)
Away Goals (home) Goals (away)
12 13 August 1963 Stadium Merdeka
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
1963 Merdeka Tournament South Korea 1–1
[1][1][1]
Japan Cha Tae-sung (64) Shozo Tsugitani (65)
42 6 March 1983 National Stadium
Tokyo
Friendly Japan 1–1
[1][1][1]
South Korea Koji Tanaka (6) Kim Kyung-ho (90)
  • Layout 2:
# Date Venue Competition Home Score Away Ref. Goals (home) Goals (away)
12 13 August 1963 Stadium Merdeka
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
1963 Merdeka Tournament South Korea 1–1 Japan [1][1][1] Cha Tae-sung (64) Shozo Tsugitani (65)
42 6 March 1983 National Stadium
Tokyo
Friendly Japan 1–1 South Korea [1][1][1] Koji Tanaka (6) Kim Kyung-ho (90)

The second one is better, but the "Ref." column should be at the end of the table, right to the "Goals (away)" column, not in the middle of the table. Snowflake91 (talk) 12:13, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
