editNice article! The site is consistently referred to in English as "Japanese Village", which is the literal translation of Ban Yipun / Muban Yipun. Might it be better and more inline with WP:USEENGLISH to have the article at Japanese Village (Ayutthaya)? --Paul_012 (talk) 22:37, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- MarsandCadmium, what do you think of the above suggestion? --Paul_012 (talk) 18:20, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
Sounds good. I originally had it as the Japanese Village but changed my mind as I thought Ban Yipun would be more "unique" for an article title (and the nihonmachi in Hoi An wasn't called the Japanese Village in Vietnam... so yeah) MarsandCadmium (talk) 18:22, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
- I've renamed the article accordingly. I think the case for WP:USEENGLISH and WP:COMMONNAME here outweigh WP:NATURALDIS. --Paul_012 (talk) 18:13, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
