I'll snag this one. Parsecboy (talk) 14:42, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Short and sweet, only a few questions/comments:

  • How the heck did it avoid coming under air attack during those last few months of the war?
    • Maizuru is on the Sea of Japan and wasn't much attacked by the carriers.
      • Ah, yes, that makes sense
  • "at the time of the surrender of Japan" - specify when this was (and are we talking 15 August or 2 September? I'd probably wager that the ship was turned over after the surrender, as US forces wouldn't have arrived to have the ship turned over to them, but this is a minor quibble)
    • Agreed
  • Link target ship
  • I prefer to do lists in the box for the ship power and propulsion fields (I find it looks a bit less cluttered), but that's up to you.
    • I should have done that for the power field, but if I can fit them on one line, that's what I usually do.
  • One last thing - you might mention in the lead that she saw no action during the war.

Think that's it. Nice work as usual. Parsecboy (talk) 14:50, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

When keel laid

edit

Before I arbitrarily change the year this ship was laid down from '45 to '44, can anyone confirm this? A.J. Watts is no help, but I can't believe this was one of those magical vessels that were commissioned before they were laid down... Hungrydog55 (talk) 01:13, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
