What does the battle of Badr have anything to do with the Kurdish people ?
"In the Battle of Badr in 624 AD, during a military campaign of extermination and looting a commander's orders informed jash units that taking cattle, sheep, goats, money, weapons and even Kurdish women was legal"
Other than User:Burpelson AFB being an Islamophobe that hates anything related to the Middle East (just read his user page) is there a logical reason why this sentence should not be deleted from the article ?Thebutterfly (talk) 17:33, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
It's a sentence explaining how the term was used in a certain context. Stop making gross generalizations and insults, you don't know a thing about me. - Burpelson AFB✈19:46, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
You still didn't answer my question. It seems to be that you still don't see the laughable error in the article. You're mentioning Kurdish women being kidnapped from a battle in Arabia between two Arab armies. Re-read what you wrote and kindly explain. I will ask again: What do Kurdish women have anything to do with the Battle of Badr in 624 AD ??? Please explain or I'm putting it up for deletion. First, it's already up for deletion, you pro-Islamic POV warrior. Second, if you're wondering what Kurdish Women have to do with the Battle of Badr, why don't you ask the person who wrote the book which the sentence is sourced from instead of harassing me? The answer to the latter is because that would make sense and because then you couldn't grandstand and try to delete things simply because you don't like them. - Burpelson AFB✈18:51, 1 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've added a clarification that the Battle of Badr was between two Arab armies and did not involve any Kurds. I believe the entire sentence is ridiculous, however, if it has to be there there is nothing wrong with a bit of clarification.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.49.28.211 (talk • contribs) 04:44, 11 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ironic that the article is now titled Jash (term), because long ago it was almost deleted because it covered only the word and not the substance. —Tamfang (talk) 22:32, 23 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
