editI am from Scranton. I recall, while I worked at Farley's and W.T. Hackets Brewing company (which is now closed down), I waited on Jason Miller everyday that I worked. Mostly mornings. He'd order the same drink with a glass of ginger ale. While writing or visiting with his son Josh Miller.
Jason has been a true inspiration to me when it came to writing my own poetry. For a long yime I was not writing at all. I showe Jason some of my writing and that's when he told me to not stop! To keep trying to write all that I can since writing is a very good way of letting a lot of issues in our life off our chests.
When I was told that he passed away doing what he wanted to do before he passed away, I was very deeply saddened. I will always miss our talks and our little poetry lessons and sessions!
He will always be in my heart and soul and mind!
I will never forgot such a wonderful man!
So that everyone knows, when I first met Jason Miller, I didn't know who he was until a few months later. Isn't that something!
Catholic?
editDoes anyone have a source that actually described him as being Catholic? (i.e. not "Catholic upbringing" or "Catholic school") Mad Jack 08:03, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Reply
editJason Miller was Catholic. How adamant a Catholic he was and how he paracticed his religous beliefs are not part of the public record.
