NANA agency

edit

NANA is not the "National American News Agency" but the "North American Newspaper Alliance"?

Thanks! - I had just removed the following to post it here for help:

(as correspondent of the National American News Agency (NANA),) Will now replace it with the modification. Cheers!--Technopat (talk) 17:58, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Date of Death

edit

Franklin Folsom's Days of Anger, Days of Hope has Allen's date of death as 1972, not 1974 (pg. 267). I will make the change, please drop me a line if this is incorrect. Carrite (talk) 18:20, 5 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

for some reason the Spanish and Catalan WP versions claim he passed away on Dec 24, 1972. This is clearly wrong, since New York Times of Dec 22, 1972 published his obituary. The text claims that Allen "died Wednesday, Carmel, Calif." The last Wednesday before Dec 22, 1972 was Dec 20, 1972, which I put as his death date. --Hh1718 (talk) 13:56, 17 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
