This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (The previous article was deleted and I wrote up a fresh article without and copyright issues) --154.73.15.40 (talk) 14:32, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (I have only created an article for a notable filmmaker in Uganda.. and people are free to edit and add or minus information but not deleting the entire page.. I think it is not justified to simply delet the article.. maybe my writing style is abit not clear but please you can do your own research on JAYANT MARU on google and find alot of content that I have simply put in my own words here) --154.73.15.40 (talk) 14:36, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

About yourself, in which you tell us how sensational you are and how passionate you are. Seriously, have you read WP:AUTOBIO? It's really best to leave it to others to find you suitable for a Wikipedia article. Wikipedia is not a venue for creating awareness about yourself or about things over which you have a conflict of interest.
If you aren't Jayant Maru, then that's different, but by choosing the name "Jaimar" you've given the impression that you are Jayant Maru, in which case you've chosen a misleading name in violation of policy. —Largo Plazo (talk) 14:40, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (My full name is Eric Wamasebu and I am living in Uganda and closely following Jayant Maru's progress.. and my username jaimar was an intentional choice as it was one of my first articles I ever wrote and I thought if I am writing about someone the wikipedia username should be JAYANT MARU and later I realized that is not the case so I changed it to the closest best name by default jaimar. I guess it is my mistake.. I wanted to stay anonymous.. ) --Jaimar123 (talk) 14:54, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you reveal your actual identify. I just wanted to know if you were the person you were identifying yourself as. —Largo Plazo (talk) 15:46, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, Jaimar123, there was no need to reveal your identity; however, now that you have done so, it is clear that you have a conflict of interest in relation to Jayant Maru and his films. Conflict-of-interest editors are strongly discouraged from editing the article directly, but are always welcome to propose changes on the talk page (i.e., here). You can attract the attention of other editors by putting {{request edit}} (exactly so, with the curly parentheses) at the beginning of your request, or by clicking the link on the lowest yellow notice above. Requests that are not supported by independent reliable sources are unlikely to be accepted. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:52, 11 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Also, Jaimar123, you can if you wish ask to have your real name permanently removed from this page and its history; please see WP:oversight, and the email link at the head of that page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:59, 11 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
