Unattributed anecdotal information
editThis article contains unattributed anecdotal information, and needs fact-checking. Denstat 16:24, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
- Removed the unattributed anecdotes below -- if you can find its source and attribute, feel free to put it back in:
- "His stage costumes have included a black boiler suit and painting his face red and black like a ladybird. In the 80s Coleman was also alleged to have waged vendettas against journalists who printed negative reviews of his band. On one occasion it is reported that Jaz sent a truck load of manure to Kerrang magazine for printing a bad review of their current record." -- Denstat 01:26, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Nehru?
editJaz recently claimed in UNCUT magazine that he is the great nephew of Nehru, the first PM of India. Is this verifiable? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.70.123.251 (talk) 03:24, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Major edit, May 4, 2006
editI just completed a major edit from the logged IP of 216.239.76.245 -- could have sworn I was logged in, guess not. Have added facts, dates, trivia and external links. I am still quite dissatisfied with the fourth before last paragraph, which is merely my revision of anecdotal writing -- did not remove it entirely because it may turn out to be factual. Feel free to fact check it! Denstat 06:05, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Minor edit, May 9, 2006
editRevised classification of parents' nationalities -- thanks to Gil Gamesh for the head's up, s/he caught the first one after which I realized the second was also inaccurate. Denstat 16:23, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Needs a musician info box
editanybody care to create an info box? it would be good for the article to have one. a template my be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_musical_artist -- Denstat 07:41, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Mulan
editi removed this unsourced material after a search on the imdb that did not list any credit for him in for the Disney film Mulan. should someone be able to back up the claim, feel free to cite that and re-insert the material.
Jaz also produced some of, and even played on music for the Disney film Mulan. [citation needed]

Original Research
editThis page, like most related to Killing Joke, has an extraordinary amount of original research. We need to get some sources in here. Thomas1617 17:57, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- Here's a bit more. I remember when he used to hang on Portobello with a bottle of vodka. Then he disappeared to Iceland, leaving the band in the lurch. Wwwhatsup (talk) 08:54, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Aren't we going a bit over the top with some of these refs - quotes + related news articles etc? Wwwhatsup (talk) 14:49, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
I removed the template {{Original research}} (date=September 2007). Please, use the in-line template {{Fact}}. —PJoe F. (talk • contribs) 13:35, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
False newa
editI think Jaz Coleman likes to make fun of the press - I've already found a few of his assertions (like the one about being the nephew of Nehru) that have never been confirmed. Besides - what the hell is an "European Composer in Residence"? I've never heard about that position. I can't find it anywhere on the internet either (anywhere... but in this article). Could someone check these informations? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.236.0.201 (talk) 15:21, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Biased tone, etc.
editThis article required a comprehensive revision, but the outstanding issue was the biased tone (it appeared that a fan or Coleman himself had submitted content). I have worked on it extensively today, including updates and expansion of content, but I have inserted templates, as it needs further work and checking.--Soulparadox (talk) 07:25, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
