Noverre never worked in Marseille. This is an old mistake in Noverre's biographies that was caused by a misunderstanding of a statement in one of Noverre's letters.--Suessmayr (talk) 21:32, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

A very interesting and important article, but that could use a bit of work I can't do.
I'm in the process of tweaking French spelling and a couple of items of general knowledge, but without access to the primary sources, there are things I don't want to meddle with.
The Early life and career section needs to be tweaked for a more encyclopedic style, again by someone better acquainted with the subject.
Quotations from primary sources need to be proofread.
References to primary sources need to be given according to WP style.
