editThis article needs to be substantially edited by someone who knows more about Chevènement than I do. I've done some work on improving the phraseology but it still needs work.

English and NPOV now OK but it needs expanding. Wasn't this guy also Transport Minister at some point? Anyway, the recent stuff will probably do, but need to add more about his earlier background, and what, if anything, did he achieve in his various ministerial posts.
