A prodigious song writer
editThis site needs to be completed. Jean-Pierre Ferland was a brilliant French-Canadian composer. Forget Gilles Vigneault, Ginette Reno and especially Celine Dion, Ferland was an original whose best work was done during his period in France and Belgium especially with brilliant compositions like "La Grande Melodie". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.174.242.106 (talk) 05:11, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Best known for?
editFerland has a sizable body of work over several decades. Can we point to songs that made him famous, that have been covered widely, that became anthems, that resonated in society? That topped charts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evanwolf (talk • contribs) 17:31, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Hell's Angels
editAnyone who doubts what I just wrote here about Ferland performing at the wedding of a Hell's Angel in 2000, should read the following link: Jean-Pierre Ferland et Ginette Reno au mariage d'un motard. It was his decision to hang with those people, so I don't see how this is a problem.--A.S. Brown (talk) 01:28, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
