Querying whether Jean-Pierre Nicéron was his nephew, or a great-nephew. Even given that J-F Nicéron died young, there is almost 40 years between J-F's death and J-P's birth. It's theoretically possible, but worth querying. The information is NOT on the cited source as linked (Catholic Encyclopaedia). The best I can find is "NICERON (Jean-Pierre), compilateur utile et laborieux, naquit à Paris en 1685, de la même famille que le précédent. Après avoir achevé ses études avec succès, il entra dans la congrégation des Barnabites, où il avait un oncle qui se chargea de le diriger dans ce nouvel état." in Michaud's Biographie universelle ancienne et moderne (1843), Tome 30, p.430. Given that this source indicates a relationship, and that J-P's uncle was a Barnabite, I've changed the wording to indicate a less secure relationship, cited to this instead.
