Added Lead Section, some Background and references. Deleted "no citations" tag

Article still needs a lot of work but at least it now carries some references. With over 170 children's published, this author certainly meets notability guidelines. --Plad2 (talk) 19:10, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

For interest, a Jean Ure (presumably the subject) is credited as the translator into English of six volumes in the long-running Bob Morane series of adventure novels by Belgian author "Henri Vernes".

According to the Morane article and The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction (see here), Ure's translations are:

The Dinosaur Hunters (London: Corgi Books, 1966; orig. Les Chasseurs de dinosaures, Verviers, Belgium, 1957),
The White Gorilla (London: Corgi Books, 1967; orig. Le gorille blanc, Verviers, Belgium, 1959),
Treasure of the Golcondas (London: Corgi Books, 1967; orig. La Couronne de Golconde, Verviers, Belgium, 1959),
The Yellow Shadow (London: Corgi Books, 1966; orig. L'ombre jaune, Verviers, Belgium, 1959),
City of a Thousand Drums (London: Corgi Books, 1966; orig. Trafic aux Caraïbes, Verviers, Belgium, 1961),
Operation Parrot (London: Corgi Books, 1968; orig. La voix du mainate, Verviers, Belgium, 1962).
