Updates
editI work for Rubenstein Communications and I propose the following updates to the "Education" section of the article on behalf of Jennifer Raab. To mitigate conflict of interest issues, I ask that an editor review the edits and take them live, as they see fit. For convenience, I've italicized the portions I propose adding. If no objections are had and no edits are made within three days, I will go ahead and update the entry myself. NinaSpezz (talk) 19:32, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

edit- By their very nature, awards can be subjective — in that they represent a very specific point of view — the point of view of the individual or organization which determines who wins the award and why. To counter this, a good practice is to limit the listing of awards to only those which are independently notable in Wikipedia.[a]
- To include a list of awards here, please ensure that only awards which are independently notable in Wikipedia are listed in the request.[b]
- When ready to proceed with the list of independently notable awards, kindly change the
{{request edit}}
template's answer parameter to read from|ans=yes
to|ans=no
. Thank you!

Notes
- ^ An award which is independently notable is recognized by having its own article in Wikipedia.
- ^ The requirement I'm asking for here that the awards be notable is not due to WP:N (which is not a content requirement). My asking for notability here is to ensure WP:NPOV. The adding of several points of view to an article in the form of an awards section may skew the article's balance.[1] Thus, my own practice is to limit the listing of awards to only those which are independently notable in Wikipedia.
