Wow. Yet another person to miss the "party". See below from article.
In 1969, Lloyd was one of the invitees to a party at 10050 Cielo Drive in Benedict Canyon, Los Angeles. He overslept and missed the party. The hostess, Sharon Tate, and four of her guests were murdered by followers of Charles Manson.
Problem is, though I recall in the 1970s often reading that the murderers invaded a "party" being thrown by Tate, it has subsequently been clearly established that there was no party. There was just one visitor to the house (Sebring). One other victim (Parent) had visited only the caretaker and was killed when leaving the property. He had never met the other victims. Everyone else who died was a resident of the house. I recall another report that a Polish author also claimed to have missed the "party" due to a delayed flight. He wrote a book about it. (Can't find that report but I do have it in a book somewhere.) I have also heard that it was common for some time for celebrities to subsequently recall that they were the one invited guest who missed that party by pure chance. I wonder if there are references for this. Did Lloyd himself make the claim I wonder? Asa0105:36, 23 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

I thought I would just add Doctor in Clover to the section os Jeremy Lloyd did infact play the character Lambert Symington in the 1966 film. Thanks, user:chris21192 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.216.195.207 (talk) 20:15, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
