editHello there! I have been working with Jerry to try and fix the page so that it reflects his current span of work and awards. I know that it seems a COI from your point of view—and I totally respect that—but also realize that Jerry is not tech-saavy, and I'm just helping him out.
That said, what would you need to verify his military service. I have a copy of his DD-214, if that is sufficient, but I am loathe to post that where anyone can see it, as there is other information on it that can be used for identity theft. What would you suggest?

- Unless his military service has been written about in reliable published sources, it isn't relevant to this article. This isn't Facebook. In the future propose exactly what you want changed (remove X and add Y) with formatted, reliable published sources to support each change. By the way, it appears that Jerry = Paul McKenna, per statements made in edit summaries. You cannot edit on behalf of a blocked editor at all. If there are factual errors in the article, he is welcome to file an OTRS request via email. If he just doesn't like the article, frankly we do not care. Understood, thank you for clarification on how changes should be noted. Allow me to clarify as well. I understand the difference between social media and a socially constructed online reference tool, and am not trying to grandstand or make this a PR piece, which is why I worked diligently to add references in the first iteration of this entry. Further, I have never edited on behalf of a blocked user, as all my edits were made before he was blocked for trying to make changes on his own, as is clearly visible in the timeline of edits. As for further changes or disputes, I will ask him to review the current entry as it stands and file an OTRS request via email. Thank you for your time.
