Note on pronunciation
edit“Ł” is a letter in the Polish alphabet that is popularly pronounced like the English letter “w”. Since “ś” is also pronounced differently in Polish, most English-speaking people pronounce “Łoś” like the English word “wash”.

editMiddle names of Jerzy Los were "Maria Michał" but he never actually used them. "Zygmunt" was the name of his father. Wlos
