stomach cancer?

edit

Can this be attributed? Word on the street here in Tijuana is that don Jesús died from other complications. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.160.133.6 (talk) 22:59, 5 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

  • "In 1980, Blancornelas and co-founded the weekly magazine Zeta." - and who?
  • "Their courageous example in the face of adversity – and the murder of 48 journalists – is said to be inspirational.[33]" - the underlined is weasily. Suggest rewording. --Tomcat (7) 20:40, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
I believe I've fixed these. In both instances, the sentences appeared to me simply extraneous: one an accidental redundancy, the second an expendable mention of Blancornelas's inspirational qualities. If ComputerJA disagrees, though, I'm fine with some form of them going back in. Khazar2 (talk) 22:03, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
