Removed Trivia
editI have removed the following until someone can provide a source and show why it's notable:
- Plays Maton guitars.
- First job was at McDonald's.
- Some of his friends include Dave Grohl, Jack Black, and Peaches.
- A fan of the Washington state band, the Sonics and has praised their album "Here Are the Sonics" in interviews.
- Believes the pioneering punk band The Damned belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- If he could eliminate one band's music from existence: Boston
- Favorite food is Clafouti
- His friendship with Josh Homme started when Jesse was pushed into a pool at a party, an wasn't let out for nearly 45 minutes. Josh then came up and said 'Let the fucking kid out of the pool' and then to 'Stop being a pussy. Harden up and don't take that shit.'"
Dodgy intro to article
editIn the article's intro we see that Jesse moved somewhere with his mother at the age of seven, and the following sentence, within the same paragraph, explains that he caught his wife cheating which led to him forming the band.
The article suggests to me that Jesse's wife cheated on him when he was seven. DanTheShrew (talk) 14:23, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
agree on that point - that needs to change. More information about his life between 1979 (the move to Palm Desert) and the point where his marriage broke up/when he and Homme started EODM needs to be added - there's too much of a time gap there.
I know he attended college (how much and which ones, I'm not sure: I've heard or read in interviews that he attended a community college in the Palm Desert area, but also that he attended University of South Carolina - not sure which he attended or if its both, nor whether he graduated from either). Also there's mention that he was actually a music journalist for awhile also. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sinderbloog (talk • contribs) 16:28, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
