Greetings old friend Jeff, and thank you for getting me listed on Wikipedia to begin with. The previous edits of my bio were done by partner Kiva Rose to more accurately represent my work. Listing my work under Occult and stressing pieces published in pagan publications is both inaccurate and turns my larger audience away from writings that could benefit them and thus our world. In addition, while I have been printed in innumerable pagan venues, and Gaia Eros was published with a pagan audience in mind, I have never considered myself a pagan. In our discussions at Starwood you stated that you did not accept that label for yourself either, and I remarked that that what made the festival special was that it was not a typical pagan gathering but an eclectic blend of cutting edge cosmology and thinking. The Anima practice we teach, and it's stress on personal engagement and responsibility rather than transcendence and "do what thous wilt" actually intimidates as many pagans and wiccans as it does social conservatives. I believe the bio as edited best represents my diverse range of admittedly unconventional and challenging writings, without being filled with trigger-words and hot-buttons that could make it even harder for the average person to avail themselves of this intense way of perceiving and living the world. editI am both the creator of and major contributor to this article. I don't think the subject has made any really controversial edits, and I bow to his preference as to the tenor of the article and his perception that some of my edits have given it an apparent bias that was inaccurate. I don't think he has any other editors changing his edits or objecting to them, and I don't intend to make any edits of that kind, though I may correct grammar and punctuation or supply a citation or two when one is requested. I think the prod should be taken down pending some actual disagreement about something; there will be none from me anymore now that I am satisfied that the editor calling himself Jesse Hardin actually IS Jesse Hardin. I only reverted what I did because I thought it was AGAINST the subject's wishes. Other editors are free, of course, to edit as they see fit, but I don't think the prod is needed at this time.Rosencomet (talk) 18:02, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
