Controversy section changes
If there are no objections from the other editors, I'd like to significantly change the controversy section if not remove it completely. I wrote them. They are highly slanted and cherry-picked. Some of the sections pertain to me personally since I am the former ani Dechen who filed the charges against Jetsunma. Among other things, Wikipedia is not the appropriate forum for anyone to pursue a personal vendetta.
I am removing the court case first and foremost. Jetsunma may be a public figure but I am not, and I do not want it here. Longchenpa (talk) 09:26, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Unbuilt monastery
Logically speaking, one can be accused of what one has done but one can't be accused of what one hasn't done (or else a lot of us are in trouble for not becoming astronauts like we said when we were nine).
Reading the Buddha From Brooklyn, Jetsunma's monastery not being built is not portrayed as a controversy. This section doesn't square with the source material. In addition, the salary and living quarters is off-topic as it has nothing to do with the monastery. Longchenpa (talk) 09:39, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Relationships
It's been raised here in the past that discussion of personal relationships on the page smacks of tabloid journalism. I can say as the person who wrote it, it was intended to smear her and this section has always been on shaky ground according to Wiki standards. I'm going to be bold and remove it. Salary
This section is also slanted and intended to smear her. Also, a discussion of temple finances needs to be 1) balanced and 2) on the temple page, not here. Longchenpa (talk) 10:13, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
