Question about Reference Note #139 re: Judaic Christianity

Hi all, I'm new here so if I'm not following protocol feel free to correct me. That said, as I was browsing this article I noticed that Reference 139 (Bar Ilan, Y. Judaic Christianity: Extinct or Evolved?. pp. 297–315) doesn't appear to be listed anywhere online. I tried Google and WorldCat and turned up nothing with that exact title, and no reference to the author (most of the Google searches turned up the University of Bar-Ilan, but no author by that last name). I looked in WorldCat for both journal articles and book titles. I'm not a research/library scientist, but does anyone with better chops have a way to verify this is a source that actually exists? (Admittedly mostly because I want to read it, but I imagine it would also be helpful to change the material if the source it's cited in is untraceable) Zev Eleos (talk) 23:46, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

"blended his teachings into the Jewish faith"?

In the beginning of the article, it is stated... "These Jews believed Jesus to be the prophesied Messiah, and blended his teachings into the Jewish faith, including the observance of the Jewish law."

What do you mean "blended his teachings"? First of all, what, specifically, are "His" teachings that were not Jewish/Judean/Judaic in origin? And I'm not saying that because he is a Jew; what I am asking is which of His teachings were not known or not practiced before Him in Judea? That's one. Two - which teaching "of His" was "blended", and "blended" into what and in which way exactly? That's two. Three, whoever wrote this needs to stop spreading misinformation!

Should there be a separate article for the splitting of Christianity from Judaism?

I'm surprised it doesn't exist. Has this been considered and rejected before? Would there be opposition to the creation of this article? Zanahary (talk) 08:30, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

Jewish Christian → Jewish Christianity – Jewish Christian is awkward, and is definitely not standard; I'm assuming that won't be controversial. I think Jewish Christianity is preferable as a title to Jewish Christians (note plural) because the scope of this article is the religious movement/phenomenon of Jewish Christianity, not the persons who fall into the category of Jewish Christians. • Support - While I appreciate the notion of noting the difference between describing an identifiable group of people (early Jewish followers of Jesus Christ and his disciples) from the idea of a "system" ("Christianity" as such), I think that, given how the term "Jewish Christianity" is used without much second thought throughout the article itself and the sources, that "Jewish Christianity" is both the WP:COMMONNAME and simply the expected, encyclopedic title. Citations failing verification

When checking a small sample of the citations on this page, there were a surprisingly high number of failed verifications. I have marked some, replaced some, and silently ignored others when I don't have the exact cited edition before me to ensure the citation is really wrong.
