This article is POV
editMy recent additions that were reverted were NOT POV. Ben Gvir is an extreame settlment activist and a convicted criminal! The party is racist and its head is the former leader and heir to Meir Kahanewho's party was officialy declared racist by the Israeli Parliament and its supreme court. The party is also definetly extreaam in every way as it is the most right wing (legal) party existing in Israel today and there is no argument about THAT.
Thus, the current version of the article, without my additions is clearly misleading because this in not just any "right wing party".
If no one gives me a good reason why my additions should have been deleted and how this article could possibly be NPOV under this current version then I'll mark it as disputed! Tal :) 09:04, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- Why the threats? Your adjectives are simply not even accurate. Did you even bother to read the WP articles about these words? The Chayil has not been declared 'racist', it is not a 'fascist' party, and the misspelled 'extreme' is blatant WP:POV and WP:OR. --Shuki 17:14, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
-I deleted the words " [banned]by its opponents in the knesset" (referring to the kach) as this formulation sounds impartial and showing condemnation of said action. --129.206.196.76 21:40, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Overall sloppy phrasing
editNothing here can reasonably be designated "far-right" or "right." Theocratic, yes, right-wing, I see nothing listed that lends any credence to such a classification. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.222.149.167 (talk) 01:20, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Comment by Hadash politician on this article
editI am leaning toward removing that Hadash comment entirely. Question: Will a similar comment by Dr Michael Ben-Ari be allowed on the Hadash page? --Shuki (talk) 19:07, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think that removing it is a much better idea than trying to get some pointy comment about Barakeh being far-left into the article. A statement about the party from a well-regarded political research centre would be much more preferable. пﮟოьεԻ 57 19:27, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Logo?
editDoes anyone know if they had a logo? ShimonChai (talk) 21:38, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
Logo
edit@Jonteemil dont add the current otzma logo! it has nothing to do with this dissolved party Braganza (talk) 16:25, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Braganza: RaphaelQS was actually the one adding the logo, see Special:Diff/1091522146. Hebrew Wiki has this logo, are they wrong?Jonteemil (talk) 16:38, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- yes, many israeli parties which actually dissolved continue to exist as shelf parties like Otzma is officially still called Jewish National Front (same goes for Yamina/New Right or Noam) but on this article its clear that Jewish National Front is dissolved now, so this shouldnt include the current Otzma logo. Otzma Yehudit
editThe 2nd sentence of the Hebrew Otzma Yehudit article is, in Google translation, "Until 2015 it was known as the National Jewish Front and as of 2022 this name is kept as its official name." [1] and includes details in its History and Knesset sections. Since Itamar Ben-Gvir has been its chairman since 2019 and in the Knesset representing Otzma Yehudit there should at least be indications of a connection.
