Merge? Stab-in-the-back myth

Can this material be merged into the article Stab-in-the-back myth? Binksternet (talk) 02:28, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

No, it's a separate topic and isn't dealt with in the same sources. Stab in the back myth says that Jews lost the war, not that they started it. (t · c) buidhe 03:16, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
You're kidding, right? It's the same topic, different decade. The theme is "blame the Jews." Binksternet (talk) 02:34, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
Yes, but we have many articles related to antisemitism, such as Antisemitic canard, economic antisemitism, antisemitism in Europe, racial antisemitism, etc. the theme of all these is "blame the Jews". It doesn't say that all these topics aren't distinct and should be merged... (t · c) buidhe 02:49, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
At the very least, you should connect the dots for the reader. Tell them about the earlier accusations, and draw a line to WWII. The reader needs to know the background and the context.
Sources you could use for this? Start with Balfour Declaration#Central Powers, the final paragraph. One source, Francis Nicosia, wrote, "Rosenberg argues that the Jews had planned the Great War in order to secure a state in Palestine. In other words, he suggested that they generated violence and war among the gentiles in order to secure their own, exclusively Jewish, interests."
Then there's the scholarly paper "The Diabolization of Jews".[1]
If you keep looking for more connections, you will find them. Binksternet (talk) 02:58, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
