editI would like to move this page as a de classifying page as "ji"(जी) can refer too man\y more things in many more languages. for example ji in hindi stand for a suffix added to any respectful name or calling. Something like minister ji gives a meaning like Mr. minister. -59.176.7.211 08:40, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
Wiki isn't a dictionary, so I don't think we should be adding lists of every meaning of a word "ji" in different languages. The focus of this page is clearly the dynastic family surnamed Ji. They're not well known by that name AFAIK, and most people would look them up via "Zhou", e.g., the Zhou rulers, the Zhou kings, etc. I'd suggest changing the page title to something like "Royal House of Ji" or perhaps others can suggest sth. better, and then cut all the extraneous lists of Hindi etc. definitions. For now I'm just moving one such out of the middle of the Ji family section. Dragonbones 06:40, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
I dunno, I got to this page looking for a definition of the suffix -ji, after being left unanswered by the Ghandi(ji) article.--Screenmaster16 21:26, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
