Merge

edit

I merged information out of Jigsaw Classroom to this article. It needs a serious effort at removing the pro-jigsaw "advertising material" from the merged-in text. Additionally, there is now a lot of redundant information. Please feel free to edit this page!. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:08, 30 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Attempt to Clean up

edit

I am removing a few things, but am rewriting a few. I have rewritten the lead section, steps for implementation, and the historical context. I have taken away pros and cons, benefits, outside of the classroom use, and the examples. The examples are not needed because the contemporary research are examples. This is for a class project and I would appreciate any feedback to point me in the right direction. The main important change is that I put in and cited all sources that I used and the original article used corresponding to the information kept and added to the article.JAShelton (talk) 19:36, 5 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

History of Jigsaw Error

edit

Just found a glaring error under the heading "History of Jigsaw" The line says " Student competition has become high and laws abolishing desegregation had just passed."

Shouldn't it should read " Student competition.... and laws abolishing segregation had just passed." instead of "abolishing desegregation"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.203.1.156 (talk) 07:16, 3 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Does Jigsaw learning technique cover the same topic as this page? If so, should it be merged here? Me, Myself & I (☮) (talk) 06:05, 15 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Indeed, Jigsaw learning technique covers the same topic with much fewer information. I think it should be merged. No time to do that right now, but not controversial. Charlotte Roy (talk) 09:49, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

I don't see why just part of my article is considered and the rest being deleted. I have covered steps involved in jigsaw learning, Application and limitations. which is not available on Wikipedia. The existing articles on jigsaw in Wikipedia only have the definition and types, as part of the cooperative learning. Another article in Wikipedia only has the definition, history and research of Jigsaw learning. Why was most of my article deleted?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Candida Dove D'silva (talkcontribs) 17:36, September 20, 2015 (UTC)
