Proposed merge with Pureology

edit

Jim Markham - Founder PureOlogy Serious Color Care in 2000. He was President and CEO of PureOlogy until he sold to L'Oreal in May, 2007 reported widely at the time in several national newspapers and verifiable on Google. Ref: LA Times, Orange County Business Journal, The Rose Sheet, WWD Beauty, NY Times Jim is the pioneer of sulfate-free, salt-free shampoos for Luxury Color Treated Hair Care products. Ref: BIR, Launchpad Magazine May 2014, American Salon Magazine, Coast Magazine May 2014 In 2011 Jim Founded ColorProof Evolved Color Care. Ref: Coast Magazine May 2014, Orange County Business Journal, The Rose Sheet January 2011 , WWD Beauty February 2011

The information on these two companies and Jim Markham deserve to be merged together.

Jim Markham has founded 4 companies to date, only 1 of which was PureOlogy. He has also developed numerous hair care products that do not fall under the PureOlogy brand name. Recommend to not merge with Pureology, since PureOlogy is no longer owned by Jim Markham[1], and does not encompass his career. The PureOlogy page does need additional development as well. Removed proposal to merge for reasons above. Put the proposal back if further discussion is desired. ScottStevensMe (talk) 20:26, 7 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
