- ... that Jim Pappin (pictured) was credited with the 1967 Stanley Cup-clinching goal in exchange for giving Pete Stemkowski unlimited access to his backyard pool? Source: National Hockey League

- Comment: Eligible per Rule 1d, because it is only appeared in the "Recent Deaths" section of ITN and not as a bold link.

- Article expansion by nominator start date versus filing date okay. Article expansion is 5.8x in both readable prose size and in words, okay. Article sourcing okay, neutrality okay, no evident signs to me of copyvio. QPQ done. I'm always a bit skeptical about old photo rights based on Ebay uploads, but I guess it's okay. Hook sourcing verified, length okay, interest level excellent. Good to go from my perspective. Wasted Time R (talk) 23:26, 10 July 2022 (UTC)

- Unfortunately I don't think we can use the lack of apparent copyright information on an eBay copy as proof that the image was never copyrighted. I am not an image expert, so if you disagree I can ask someone who has more experience with images to comment.
- Agreed and removed. However, I think it'll still be a good idea to get a third opinion for the image just in case (if it's not too much trouble for you). —Bloom6132 (talk) 00:08, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
- What makes hockeydb.com a reliable source? Per the credits page it's a one-person operation.
- Replaced all but one of its usage with the NHL bio and stats page. No issues were raised about hockeydb.com when this article appeared at DYK and ITN, and it is listed under "Sources of information" in WP:HOCKEY, but I understand that's not the same as consensus approving this site as a reliable source. However, I've had to retain it to verify his 12–14 record with the Milwaukee Admirals, as I'm unable to find any other reliable source(s) verifying the info. —Bloom6132 (talk) 00:08, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
That's everything; the article is concise. I made some minor copyedits. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 16:54, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Mike Christie: thanks very much for the review! I hope I've addressed your comments satisfactorily. —Bloom6132 (talk) 00:08, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
I'll ask about the image, and I'll post at WP:HOCKEY about hockeydb.com and will ping you to that conversation. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 09:10, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
- I got a satisfactory reply at WP:HOCKEY so I'm passing this. I asked someone about the image and will let you know if they respond. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 13:07, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
