According to Wikipedia:MUSICBIO number 8, a musician is notable for winning a major award, and Jinxx and Jake won an award for best guitarists. Also number 6 is applicable due to Jinxx having been in multiple bands that are independently notable. Number 10 could possibly apply for jinxx having played some solos on the large collaboration project Team Cybergeist. Thatemooverthere (Talk) 02:19, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Date of Birth???

edit

Was Jinxx born in 1981, or 1986? This information keeps changing back and forth, so some references are needed. PLEASE help us clear this up by finding the correct information and posting it here!

Not sure why someone keeps changing it. He was born in 1981, graduated from high school in Des Moines in 1999. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.16.41.52 (talk) 02:48, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Recent removals

edit

I removed several items for various reasons:

  • Nicknames - dubious. Please have a reliable source before restoring.
  • years_active in infobox: 1996 would have his pro career starting at age 8. Dubious. Please have a reliable source before restoring.
  • Equipment (entire section) - Every musician has equipment. With rare exceptions, the exact list of equipment is not encyclopedic and because it starts to look like an "ad" for the equipment-makers, it detracts from the article rather than helping it. Only restore instruments which are clearly "out of the ordinary" such as a "named guitar" or a specific instrument (not a type or model of instrument, but the actual instrument) that is somehow worthy of mentioning. For example, if he auctioned off one of his instruments for charity and it raised $100,000, that might be worth mentioning.
