I erased the part about the letters of Colijn since they have nothing to do with van Heutsz or even the Atjeh War as a whole. Colijn wrote those letters while he served in the Lombok Expedition. References to that can be found in 'Netherlands in Twelve Murders' by Jan Blokker, Jan Blokker Jr. and Bas Blokker. They reference to Bijvank, Brooshooft, Colijn, Cool, Fasseur etc. etc.
