I added this story again. Looking at the news coverage online, it seems as if this was a story that garnered a lot of media attention. There were other, minor stories about Joachim Stroink's work, like his not opening his office for 5 months after being elected, and him going on a trip with Stephen McNeil to Holland, but the blackface incident seems to be the major story of his career thus far.
