References

edit

To me it seems as if this article needs some references. --ImmortalGoddezz 17:39, 29 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

re Joan Wasser entry:I'm not sure what you mean by references. The text was lifted directly from my web site about Joan, *Luster. All the information comes from Joan herself. This guy has plagerized me before. But then so has her PR firm so.... It is certainly not written as a description/definition. I' can fix that, but the information is correct, unless some yahoo has added stuff.

By reference it, I mean make it a better article by citing sources and deleting copy-righted information.--ImmortalGoddezz 18:31, 30 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
Good start on the references, though I believe it could be even better. This would give you a loose idea of what I'm talking about. --ImmortalGoddezz 20:05, 12 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sexual orientation

edit

Here is a source for her bisexuality; http://www.afterellen.com/people/2011/02/joan-as-policewoman-on-writing-songs-about-women-but-shes-not-telling-who Vauxhall1964 (talk) 08:36, 1 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

The URL is dead. If the sexual orientation is to be talked about again, it needs to be sourced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:FA48:6EDA:1C10:C861:E32F:799E:63D3 (talk) 19:37, 29 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:JAPW-band.jpg

edit

Image:JAPW-band.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:08, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The most obvious question is unanswered...

...Why is she/the band called Joan as Police Woman? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.78.183.203 (talk) 10:54, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

"The name was a reference to the TV series Police Woman featuring Angie Dickinson." So there it is. --Thealienhand (talk) 10:38, 28 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
