to conform to the usage on the agency's own Web site (without CamelCase). Tkinias 06:11, 11 July 2006 (UTC) I retitled the article Started to undo the vandalism again!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjwalshe (talk • contribs) 12:38, October 23, 2006
Should this article have a little something on when, why and how Jobcentre became Jobcentre Plus? 80.43.38.205 10:49, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I'll be getting to the recent history soon. Unless anyone else can contribute something? – Agendum 00:11, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
I am new here and I was wondering why there is only information on Work Assist when there are a lot more programmes for example Employment Zones and NDDP?
'Vandalism'
editThe continued vandalism to this page has resulted in various versions of this page being reverted. As a result, quite a few changes and additions have been lost, including URLs for Jobseeking websites.
I, too, am doing my best to undo the damage.... – Agendum 08:50, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
To be honest, the immaturity in this vandalism is beyond belief... It's not even funny. This sack probably just thinks he can refresh his IP every time to stop a ban... Reckon it should be semi-protected? DarkCat 20:20, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Yeh I am working for of one of the Jobcentre agencies - trying to add useful info to the page is a nightmare. Mjwalshe 15:35, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I work for Jobcentre Plus, although I obviously can't say in what capacity. Yes, the vandalism was something that I hadn't encountered before. Went too far when the perpetrator also began on my User Page - I've never seen anything quite so childish on Wikipedia. Agendum 19:13, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
This vandalism is ridiculous. Rpeckhoff (talk) 03:36, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, well, people willing to admit to working for this government department. That said, are these defenders of Jobcentre really going to give an independent view of what are "childish" or "ridiculous" changes? As a 'customer' of Jobcentre Plus, it would be most interesting to be given examples of 'vandalism'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.44.104.136 (talk) 18:10, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:JobCentre Plus logo.gif
editImage:JobCentre Plus logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:58, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Blatant Advertising
editAs already stated, this section reads like a news release, and is overly promotional in tone. If such Public Relation cannot be not rewritten, to reflect Jobcentre/employment related issues, should it not be deleted without delay? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.44.104.136 (talk) 19:07, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Universal Jobmatch
editI think Universal Jobmatch has closed down: at least, a Google search highlights this site, as its replacement.
