Change In 2009, Chia then entered the stand-up comedy circuit, beginning her career as a comedian to "In 2013, Chia did her first comedy open mic, beginning her career as a comedian"
Source: https://www.wbur.org/news/2018/04/19/boston-women-comedy "I'm so glad I started even for a brief period of time in Boston," says Chia, who is now based in New York City and whose career is taking off with appearances on Comedy Central Asia and Howard Stern's satellite radio channel. She earned her chops at Boston open mics less than five years ago." (article from 2018) (1. I'm Jocelyn Chia and confirm I started my comedy career in 2013, although I know you can't cite this as a source) Jocelynchia (talk) 10:22, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Actually, I think the New Paper source is actually saying the same thing. Written in 2019, it says “Chia has been a professional comedian for six years,” which means we have misinterpreted the source. I’ll take care of this. Courcelles (talk) 12:36, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
