Title of article

Is there a reason that the article is named "Johann Hiller" and not "Johann Adam Hiller" and that there is a redirect from "Johann Adam Hiller" to "Johann Hiller"? As far as I know Hiller is known by his full name. (See also the German WP and New Grove) I would like to change the title but wanted to make sure first that I'm not missing anything. Yes I agree. There was a General Johann Hiller so 'Johann Adam Hiller' would be preferable to distinguish the composer. --Kleinzach 12:14, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Hiller as a teacher

Right now the article states that Hiller was a teacher "who encouraged a musical education for women." Where does this information come from? New Grove says: "He remained in this position until 1771, and set about raising the standard of the orchestra and providing more varied programmes, principally by introducing vocal music. This brought out very clearly his concern for the training of young musicians: the singers Corona Schröter and Gertrud Elisabeth Schmeling (later Mara) both received his support and became the chief attractions at his concerts. Soon afterwards he founded a song school to put Leipzig singing on a broader basis." This does not suggest that he was primarily interested in educating women, but that his primary aim was to educate young musicians no matter whether male or female.
