Request
editJohn Bachar asked me to change a few items on this page. He broke five vertebrae not four. I added his birth year. I corrected the amount of weight he used for one arm pull ups. Plus, I added the website for his shoe company.

editI removed the image Image:JohnBachar TheGift.jpg from the article as it appeared to be a screenshot under copyright. The claim for fair use is suspect in this case since the image is replaceable and used only to illustrate the subject. It would be fantastic if someone has a photo of the subject to upload under an appropriate license. --TeaDrinker (talk) 18:07, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Citation needed for speculation about rockfall, or it should be removed.
editNone of the articles currently cited in this article (NY times, LA Times, UK climbing website) concerning his death contains any discussion of rockfall. It doesn't seem appropriate to have unsourced speculation in this article, so I may re-edit it later to include more details of his death gleaned from those articles, and not single out rockfall as a possible cause unless there is evidence in that direction.
