Early Life
editThe first sentence of this section currently reads: "Bishop is the youngest of four children born to labourer Edward Bishop and wife Kathleen Hackett.[4] and Brookvale High School after he and his family moved from Huyton, Merseyside.[5]" Which doesn't make sense. Consulting earlier revisions reveals that "He grew up mostly in Winsford, Cheshire and Runcorn, Cheshire, and attended Murdishaw West Primary School[5]" preceded ...and Brookvale High School etc, and has been removed at some point. Can anyone give any reason why it was removed, and why it shouldn't be restored? Robocon1 (talk) 21:29, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Place of birth
editThe article says he was born in Liverpool. The single source currently given to support this, from The Genealogist, says this: "John was born in 1966, the youngest of four children, to labourer Edward Bishop and his wife Kathleen Hackett. The family lived on a council estate in Runcorn.."
and: "On his mother's side John is very much the 'scouser', with all his great grandparents born in Liverpool."
Nowhere does it claim that Bishop himself was born in Liverpool? Martinevans123 (talk) 20:24, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- However, FreeBMD yields this, for John Joseph, mother's name Hackett, Liverpool North district. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:14, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- And this source says:
"When one follower replied suggesting he was born in Runcorn, he replied: “That’s news to me! I was born in Mill Rd. I lived in Runcorn for eight years from the age of 10 - 10 is a big age to be born!” ... John was born in Liverpool’s Mill Road maternity hospital and lived in Mill Road until his parents, who are from Huyton, moved to Winsford and later Runcorn."
- So that's pretty clear. Martinevans123 (talk) 08:46, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
