This article qualifies for GA status. But to show I read it, I have a few fixes.

1. Is it reasonably well written?

   A. Prose is "clear and concise", without copyvios, or spelling and grammar errors:

   • Subject's name is misspelt in the lead Y
   • In the Heading "de Haviland apprenticeship", the "D" should be capitalised
   • "Cunningham began his engineering career with a some menial projects " delete "a"? Y
   • Captions do not have full stops unless they are proper sentences (per MOS:CAPTIONS) Y
   • "but nevertheless, the flying suits nor the cockpit was heated" suggest "neither the flying suits nor the cockpit were heated" Y
   • "On 15 May 1940, 604 was moved to RAF Manston" delete "was" Y
   • "Hall would later became Cunningham's managing director and boss" suggest "Hall later became Cunningham's managing director and boss" or "Hall would later become Cunningham's managing director and boss" Y
   • "A pair of elevation aerials were located above and blow the wing surfaces" suggest "A pair of elevation aerials were located above and below the wing surfaces Y
   • "He expended all ammunition against it, save for a cannon that stopped" suggest "He expended all his ammunition against it, save for that of a cannon that stopped. Y
   • "a He 111" suggest "an He 111" ? Should "A 8./KG 55" be "An 8./KG 55" ?
   • "Sholto Douglas accompanied the King whe appeared at Danebury Hill " should be "Sholto Douglas accompanied the King, who appeared at Danebury Hill" Y
   • "He had to gave up when his windshield iced over" should be "He had to give up when his windshield iced over Y
   • "forced to bale out" should be "forced to bail out" Y
   • "Postwar" is "Post-war" in British English
   • "On 1 May 1975 the British Government announced the nationalisation of the industry and British Aerospace consumed all the nations manufacturers." "nations" should be "nation's"Y
   • "From 1980 he was appointed Chairman of the Sir Geoffrey de Havilland Flying Foundation, " should be "in 1980" Y
   • "The medals were subsequently sold to raise funds for the Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Trust Appeal for £384,000 on 7 September 2012." suggest "The medals were subsequently sold for £384,000 to raise funds for the Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Trust Appeal on 7 September 2012." Y
