LTG Wall’s performance as a Brigadier General was so dominant and effective that the US Congress reversed the Passover,(firing)of BG John Furman Wall and promoted him to MG General and later in another assignment, promoted him to the LTG rank. A remarkable member of the Corps of Engineers.
