Other problems: - Hook ALT1 reads somewhat negatively but is definitely more interesting? I prefer the main nominated hook for that reason, though the alternative can be re-worded.

Overall: The nomination is in order. I prefer the first hook -- the alternative hook would need revision to avoid negative wording IMO.
