Guest Appearances
editA Guest appearances session give the exactly idea of what John done in his musician life. There are too much work involved here to just take it off.--César 19:41, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Please take a look at a few other Featured Lists of solo artists. None of them have a "guest appearances" section. If you would like to find a reference for each claim, that is your choice, but until then it should remain out of this list. NSR77 TC 19:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
If anyone need, is here.--César 20:11, 14 September 2007 (UTC) —
His work with The Mars Volta should be in this article as he is listed in Amputechture and TBiG as part of the Mars Volta group. He isn't just a guest.
- i was actually coming here to see which Mars Volta albums he was on. as far as i know, he is on every album of theirs. he plays guitar on every song on amputecture except one. john is even listed as a current member of the mars volta for in the studio. dave grohl has queens of the stone age down under his discography but was only on one album. as far as i know 4>1 Whitey138 (talk) 02:24, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Speed Dealer Moms
editSpeed Dealer Moms is a collaboration between Frusciante, Aaron Funk of Venetian Snares and some dude named Chris McDonald. I was surprised to see no mention of the project here - There's a section for it on Venetian Snares' page. I took it upon myself to add it (after a bit of trial and error figuring out how to use wiki tables - sorry it took me 3 tries). They've released one EP so far... I look forward to hearing more. Aaron Funk is a rather experimental breakcore and idm musician - The music Frusciante made with Funk is quite a departure from his usual more rock-based stuff - So I figured it definitely was worth mentioning. Here's another link with an article with further info on the group. ."The Very First Article About Speed Dealer Moms". The original link I used as a citation in the actual articl also includes full streaming samples of the tracks from the EP, if any Frusciante fans are interested.

Other projects and article improvements
editMost of his work is listed here, and it looks like there's a great deal of awesome guest appearences that someone catalogued below. It is July 2012 and I am adding some work that's been missed as he is also the guitarist for the band Swahili Blonde since 2012. I also added some tidbits to the first 2 paragraphs, including a citation to a Rolling Stone article explaining that John took a central role in the composition of By The Way. Also added the fact that Shadows Collide With People is his only solo album to date featuring Chad Smith. Kemery720 (talk) 04:14, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
