@Ernst S. Blofeld: I've removed the material in question as it is about the university - the sources do not appear to attribute blame on him personally, so the material is not really suitable for inclusion here - WP:UNDUE come to mind, and in any case it should not take up half the article - I'm happy for it to be redacted, with a link to the main article where it can be explained in more detail. I've also cleaned up the sourcing of the article to make it more concise - there is no need to have 5/6 sources per statement, and some of them were reliable or at an earlier stage (for example, sources mentioned rumours of job losses with sources later confirming the exact amount).
