editWhy so little mention of Therry's ventures into squatting and cattle-raising? He was one of the pioneers of the Upper Murray region. His property on Yarra Yarra Creek near Holbrook he eventually sold for £20,000. This run was managed for him by a notorious cattle-thief named James Feeney, whose depredations cost Therry dear.
