April 4, 2016:
I have added the correct link to the current version of the Irish Guards on Chris Bakers site at "The Long, Long Trail". This is the direct link to the page.
There is no current substantiated evidence that 2nd Lt. John Kipling is in Plot 7 Row D Grave 2 at the St. Mary's ADS Cemetery (ADS = Advanced Dressing Station). The January 2016 article in the STAND TO! of the Western Front Association that reportedly confirms that John Kipling is located in that grave is incorrect. He "might" be in that grave but the proof put forth in the article is flawed.
You may wish to refer to these documents:

- Is this really the grave of Rudyard Kipling's only son? October 28, 2015
- Lt. Wylie and 2nd Lt. Kipling: Loos British Cemetery? February 17, 2016
- Evidence against 2nd Lieutenant Kipling being a Lieutenant at the time of his death, as he was Gazetted posthumously in November 1915.
