I am glad to know that this page was kept. John Bell is quite a name,as will be known to regular listeners of the Radio Four "Thought for the Day" or regular viewers of Songs of Praise; I know him to be linked to the Iona Community, and to me, he is famous enough to warrant his own article. If one does a Google search by typing "John Bell of the Iona Community",one gets over 500 hits in the U.K. alone.ACEOREVIVED (talk) 21:43, 11 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Err... The article doesn't really state where he's comming from and where he's living. He's scottish, right? --PaterMcFly (talk) 17:54, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

He is one of the best-known, ecumenical Church musicians is Scotland, and has contributed widely to music and religious hymn writing...and is well-known beyond the bounds of Scotland —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.129.71.133 (talk) 13:06, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Depends what you mean by "contributed widely". I hold him responsible for ruining music in worship in the Church of Scotland, and removing what little sincerity we had left in the musical life of the Kirk. Tpacw (talk) 16:44, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
