The main source used for this article, Whitson, Rolland Lewis, ed. (1914). Centennial History of Grant County, Indiana, 1812 to 1912. Vol. II. New York: Lewis Publishing Company. p. 675, is entirely unreliable. It is riddled with errors that confuse him with his son, also named John Milton Wallace (1853-1926). I recommend that this article be improved quickly, or it may be nominated for deletion.

Thanks for the warning on the source. The main facts of the article are supported by other sources. If I removed everything that couldn't be supported by other sources, it would mostly be family info. The article is not even a day old; perhaps give it some time before deleting it.
