Personal life
editThis is kind of a compact article for such a signifcant artist. Could somebody who knows something add some of the biographical details that are usually included in such articles? Pascalulu88 (talk) 23:55, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
Architect
editOur English article says dismissively that Marin "tried unsuccessfully to become an architect" but the French Wikipedia article says "De 1890 à 1892, il travaille comme dessinateur pour quatre architectes et de 1892 à 1897, il dirige sa propre entreprise et conçoit six résidences à Union City (New Jersey)." And refers to his switching to painting as an aesthetic choice, not the result of failure.
It's kind of embarrassing that the French article on such an essential American artist should be better quality than the article in English. Pascalulu88 (talk) 00:11, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
