If Miller was the Kid, how did he come by the wagon, provisions, and small herd of cattle that he and Isadora had in their possession when they arrived in Las Vegas on Aug. 8, 1881? On the wikipedia page for fellow Regulator Yginio Salazar this information is provided Yginio later became an honest rancher and after Billy the Kid escaped from jail in Lincoln, killing his two guards, he fled to Yginio's home and Yginio cut his shackles off and fed him. Could Billy have gone to Yginio a second time?

Evidence against?
editIf anything, the “Evidence against” presented here only support the claim that Miller was indeed Billy the Kid. Of course he would lie about his birth date and other facts – as a fugitive you want to remove any traces that may link you to your past identity. For the same reason, you would be insane to use the same gun or even gun type. It would have been odd if Miller hadn’t lied about the facts or if he had continued to use the same gun. It would have indicated that he had nothing to hide, which was very far from the truth if we assume that he was the Kid. Ron g (talk) 14:39, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Change from "Delete" to "Merge and Redirect"
editTwo claims from this article have been added to Billy the Kid#John Miller. I also delinked the looped link to John Miller in that article's section. The only other link that links here is from a DAB page, and that's okay to keep.
