Appointed/reappointed?
editPerhaps promotions were temporary then? London Gazette 6630 page 3 appears to appoint him Admiral in December 1727, long after other sources say he attained the rank. Had his previous commission lapsed?LE (talk) 17:27, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
